2009 Cheese and Wine in the Village Hall

This years 2009 VP’s Cheese and Wine went with a swing with the softly lit village hall packed to the brim.  The ambiance was great and the company fine. A good crowd mixed together well and everyone enjoyed the evening.  The bar was well stocked where good wine flowed profusely served by volunteer bar staff.  Excellent choices of over 20 different cheeses, grapes, stuffed dates and pickles some tasty crackers and fresh French sticks. The table of food looked very appetising and everyone said how attractive it looked. The chatting was lively with little a quiz for amusement, but the highlight of the evening was a question and answer spot with cricketers  Richard Darby and Martin Russell,  who  were introduced with a few words from our Chairman Mike “ I don’t make speeches” Bosher.

Acknowledgements go to all the VP’s who help without who these functions could not happen.
